c.1925. By George Baker. Though there is little use of colour, it is a striking composition, stereotypically Irish and reminiscent of the Gap of Dunloe, Killarney. Railway companies like Great Western Railway wanted to get passengers to the ferry ports and they often held shares in the ferries across the Irish Sea themselves.
