Inspired by the sophisticated design of the Collections in the Museum, in particular the Ribbon Torc, found near Belfast, Co Antrim - Breda designed this exclusive range of torc jewellery.
Torcs are twisted lenghts or strips of metal, torquere being the Latin word for 'twist'. Around 1200-1100BC late Bronze Age the production of twisted ornaments began in Ireland, the National Museum of Ireland has the largest collection of these artefacts in Western Europe.
The necklet has 13 sterling silver links which allow the necklet to move with the wearer, The full collection of this jewellery includes; pendants, earrings, rings, bangles and cufflinks.
