Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q. How soon after I place my order online will I receive the goods?

 

A. Your order will be shipped within 24 hours Mon-Fri and for bespoke pieces within 28 days. You will receive email notification if there is a delay in sending out your order.

 

Q. Is payment taken from my account on the same day that I place my order?

 

A. Please allow 24hours for your purchase to appear on your credit/debit card account.

 

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

 

A. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Laser.

 

Q. Will you retain my personal credit card details?

 

A. We will not retain your credit card details after your order has been processed. We will retain your email and postal address details unless you opt out at the time of placing your order.

 

Q. How safe are my debit/credit card details on your site?

 

A. All payments are handled by WorldPay to ensure safe and secure transactions. At the point of payment you will be directed to a page on a Worldpay server where you can enter your credit/debit card details.

 

Q. Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?

 

A. An order may be cancelled within a period of 7 days on receipt of the confirmation of order email. All cancellations must be notified by email to shop@museum.ie

 

Q. What is your policy on returns?

 

A. If you are unhappy with any of your purchases please contact us within 7 days by phone, fax or email and advise us that you are returning the goods. We will give you a full refund provided that the items you wish to return are unused, complete and in re-saleable condition. Goods which are returned for a refund must be returned with the invoice.
